Manu Dibango

Emmanuel N'Djoké Dibango (aka Manu Dibango, nicknamed Papagroove or Papa Manu) was a Cameroonian world jazz saxophonist and singer born on 12 December 1933 in Douala (Cameroon) and died on 24 March 2020 in Paris from the aftermath of Covid-19. He is known for his song "Soul Makossa" (1972).
