(born 15 February 1972) is a Czech professional ice hockey right winger currently playing for the Florida Panthers of the National Hockey League (NHL). Jágr is the leading point scorer among active NHL players and has the second most points in NHL history. He is the most productive European player who has ever played in the NHL and is considered one of the greatest professional hockey players of all time. In 1990, at age 18, he was the youngest player in the NHL. Currently, at age 45, he is the oldest player in the NHL, and is the oldest player to record a hat-trick. On January 27, 2017, in a ceremony during the All-Star Weekend in Los Angeles, Jágr was part of the second group of players to be named one of the 100 Greatest NHL Players in history.
